The Operations Associate role is a full-time position at Roomer, a fast-growing travel company, responsible for day-to-day operations and community building. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join our fast-growing travel company and help build and manage a community of creators. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of helping travelers and travel companies around the world. You will work closely with our finance and legal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations, and you will also work to promote Roomer's key metrics and improve our operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for building relationships and fostering community growth. Responsibilities: The Operations Associate will be responsible for working closely with our creator community, helping them to succeed and grow within our platform. This will involve providing support and guidance, as well as identifying opportunities for collaboration and promoting the work of our creators. In addition to community building, the Operations Associate will also be responsible for coordinating and supporting various operational tasks and projects. This may include assisting with event planning, managing social media accounts, and tracking and analyzing data. The Operations Associate should be comfortable working independently and be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as the role involves frequent interaction with creators and other team members. A big plus for this role is a love of travel, as the Operations Associate may have the opportunity to travel to meet with creators and attend industry events. Other day to day responsibilities: ? Assist travelers and travel companies with booking and reservation inquiries and issues ? Work with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance and smooth operation of the business ? Analyze and report on key metrics such as customer satisfaction, booking volume, and revenue ? Identify and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes ? Build and manage relationships with creators within our platform ? Provide support and guidance to help creators succeed and grow within our community ? Identify opportunities for collaboration and promote the work of our creators ? Coordinate and support various operational tasks and projects ? Assist with event planning and manage social media accounts ? Track and analyze data to inform decision-making and strategy ? Communicate effectively with team members and creators ? Identify and research potential travel influencers to partner with ? Reach out to travel influencers and negotiate partnerships ? Create and execute social media campaigns to promote travel deals ? Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and relevant social media content ? Monitor and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed ? Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree in business, tourism, or a related field ? Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multitask effectively ? Strong understanding of social media platforms and video in particular ? 1-3 years of experience in operations or customer service ?
